Summary:

As an Import–Export Executive, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating end-to-end import and export documentation, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of international trade operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of customs procedures, logistics coordination, and trade documentation, along with a proactive approach to maintaining structured and compliant processes across the supply chain.

    Job Skills
    • Strong knowledge of import & export documentation including Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, BOE and shipping instructions.

    • Hands-on experience with customs clearance processes, HS codes, duties, and regulatory compliance.

    • Understanding of GST implications on imports & exports, including E-Invoice, E-Way Bill, and coordination with finance teams.

    • Coordination with freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, shipping lines, and warehouses to ensure timely movement of goods.

    • Ability to manage end-to-end supply chain operations from procurement to final delivery.

    • Proficient in ERP systems, Tally, MS Office (Excel, Word) for tracking shipments, documentation, and reporting.

    • Experience in inventory coordination, order processing, and dispatch planning.

    • Effective communication with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

    • Familiar with SOP implementation, process improvement, and compliance-driven workflows.

    • Strong ownership of responsibilities with commitment to deadlines and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:


    • Handle import & export documentation and ensure compliance with trade and customs regulations.

    • Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, and internal teams for smooth shipment execution.

    • Prepare and manage purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and shipment records.

    • Track shipments, GRN, and deliveries while resolving documentation discrepancies.

    • Maintain accurate records, master data, and SOP-compliant documentation.

    • The Documentation Executive is responsible for creating master data for vendors, customers, transporters, and items. 
    • She/he will be  handling purchase orders, E-way bills, and GRN tracking, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. 
    • She/he will also be converting inquiries into sales quotes/orders, prepare sales invoices and credit notes, and will be coordinating with various departments for documentation tasks. 
    • Additionally, s/he will oversee physical stock verification, assist in organizing and archiving records, and ensure timely compliance with company standards, fostering effective communication and collaboration both internally and externally.

The primary role would be to ensure that the Marketing strategy is geared towards increasing business growth, profits, budget achievement and increasing shareholder return. The key areas would involve bringing new and innovative ideas to the business and look for opportunities to expand and create a goodwill in the marketing territory.

Specialty Chemicals, Commodity Chemicals, Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, and Food Ingredients (experience in these industries will be preferred).

Education:

Job Title: Trainee/ Executive / Associate Manager / Manager - Marketing

Graduation: BE/Btech having Chemical Engineering OR B.sc having Chemistry as a Major.
Post-graduation: ME/Mtech having Chemical Engineering OR M.sc having Chemistry as a Major.
MBA in Marketing: Candidates having MBA in Marketing from reputed universities will be given first preference.

0 - 10 years of experience. (Around 1-2 years of prior experience in similar business would be preferred.)

    • Strategic Market planning which includes corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.   
    • Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, trade shows, seminars, exhibitions etc. Overall Branding of Company, its Products & Services.   
    • Increasing market share by Identifying New Products, New markets, New Customers.
